Hi,

Welcome on my blog.

My first name is Jean-Loup wich is literally translated "John-Wolf". So I'm nicknamed as Wolfie.

I'm a veterinary surgeon. I'm working at the Liege University in Belgium as a specialist in teaching. I am working on a PhD in education, especially in the metacognition field. Metacognition concerns the knowledge of the knowledge for instance, how sure are you of your own answers but also the knowledge of the strategy to learn.

On my spare times I like to walk around and take pictures of buildings, landscape, fauna and flora including spiders that Veronique hates ;o). I try to improve both shooting and post processing. You'll meet me time to time on Trek Earth, Trek Lens and Trek Nature.

My other hobbies concerns sailing, aikido, iaido, japanese calligraphy, mountain bike, ornithology, american football and swimming.
